<STRONGS>

The <STRONGS> tag is used to mark Strong's numbers. In so doing, you can double-click the embedded Strong's number to display its corresponding Strong's definition. In addition, the presence of a Strong's number in a commentary article means that you can Smart Reference™ to it from any reference work that is keyed by Strong's numbers (e.g., Strong's definitions).

In addition to the Strong's number, you must specify whether it is an Old Testament or New Testament number, as illustrated in the following example:

The Greek "agapao" (<STRONGS:NT:25>) is similar to the Old Testament "ahab" (<STRONGS:OT:157>). However, it must be remembered that, in both cases, the Holy Spirit was communicating a concept previously unknown--that of pure, unconditional, unrelenting love.

The Strong's number (e.g., "25") will appear in the text, and will be visually distinguished (green with a dashed underline, by default) so that it is immediately recognizable as a clickable, embedded reference.
