Focus and Explore Modes: A Closer Look
One of the most significant new feature in OneTouch version 4 is the introduction of the Focus and Explore modes. But you may be asking yourself, "What exactly are these "modes" and how will they affect my Bible study?" This brief section should tell you everything you need to know to fully understand and utilize this powerful new concept!
The essential difference between Focus and Explore is what happens when you choose to follow a link from the current content to some related content—whether by selecting an embedded reference (Bible verse, topic, or Strong's number) or one of the cross-reference or Smart Reference™ opportunities displayed in the SMARTLinks™ panel.

The table below compares and contrasts the results of various actions when either Explore or Focus is the active mode. (Note: Remember that the left-to-right arrangement of panels in OneTouch version 4 is: Navigation, Primary, and Secondary.)
