<TOPIC>

The <TOPIC> tag is used to indicate an embedded topic, for which there is (or may be) reference material in the Encyclopedias. The presence of an embedded topic reference in a commentary article, makes it possible to access all related topical information with a double-click! The following example illustrates the use of embedded topics:

When <TOPIC:Moses> wrote, "In the beginning God..." (<BIBLE:Genesis 1:1>) he was writing purely under the influence of the <TOPIC:Holy Spirit>. But when <TOPIC:John> takes up the pen in this letter, he is writing <BTT:Emphasized>both<ETT> under the influence of the Holy Spirit <BTT:Emphasized>and<ETT> from personal experience.

The topic name (e.g., "Moses") will appear in the text, and will be visually distinguished (green with a dashed underline, by default) so that it is immediately recognizable as a clickable, embedded reference.
