This lower toolbar contains all of the Smart Reference™ buttons. The Smart Reference™ system works as follows: it takes your "current context" (for example, the book, chapter, and verse in a Bible window; the article name in a Dictionary/Encyclopedia window; or the Strong's number in a Strong's definition) and finds all of the reference materials in each of the other reference work categories (e.g., Dictionary/Encyclopedias, Commentaries, etc.) that make reference to the "current context". If any references are found within a reference work type, its Smart Reference™ button will be "lit"--otherwise it will appear as a dull gray. Click any lit button to view a list of every reference work of that type that refers to the current context, and click any one of those reference work names to view a complete list of the specific places in that reference work that contain the reference(s).
