If this option is selected, map measurements will be displayed in miles or feet (depending on the scale of the map).

Map distance units Dialog

To access these settings, select Options | Preferences | Advanced | Map distance units from the main menu in OneTouch®.

This setting is used to specify the unit(s) of measure to be displayed when measuring the distance from one point of a map to any other point. (You can measure the distance between any two points in a map by moving the mouse cursor to the first point, holding down the Shift key, then clicking-and-dragging the mouse to the second point.)

Select United States to view measurements in miles/feet. Select Metric to view measurement in kilomters/meters. Select Both to view both types of measurements simultaneously.
