Hints Dialog (Advanced)
To access these settings, select Options | Preferences | Advanced | Hints from the main menu in OneTouch®.
These settings provide further control over the "tool tips" (also known as "fly-by hints", or "popup hints") that appear when you hold the mouse cursor over any button in OneTouch®.
Short Delay - This setting specifies the amount of time, in seconds, that the mouse cursor must be held over a button before its tool tip will be displayed when moving from button to button. Note that you can specify tenths, or even hundreths, of seconds, by including a decimal point. For example, the setting pictured above, "0.05", sets the delay to "five hundredths of a second".
Visible Period - This setting specifies the amount of time, in seconds, that the tool tip will be displayed. For example, the setting pictured above, "200", sets the period to 200 seconds, or over three minutes!
