Interlinear Bible (Strong's-by verse) Window

The Interlinear Bible window contains both an Interlinear Bible Pane and a dual-function Information Panel/Bible Pane. To open an Interlinear Bible window a Bible reference is selected--either in a Selection Dialog or by cross-referencing from another reference work that is organized by book-chapter-verse. The Interlinear Bible pane displays the selected verse in a multi-line (hence, interlinear) display designed to focus on the original language (Greek or Hebrew) Bible text.

The exact organization of this interlinear display (including both content and order) is set by you, using the Interlinear Bible Display Options dialog. Typically, it will include a line for the original language font, another line for the transliterated text (an English representation of the original language, to aid in pronunciation), a line for the corresponding Strong's numbers, as well as an English translation of the Bible text.

The Information Panel lists the actions that are available on the lower toolbar, along with a brief description of the action performed by each one. Click the button--located on the lower toolbar--to replace the Information Panel with a Bible pane and display the current Bible reference there.

bm43 Remember, whenever a window contains two or more panes you can change their relative size by moving the "splitter" or "divider" line that separates the panes--giving more space to one pane and less space to the other pane. Simply move the mouse cursor to the "splitter" line, until the cursor appears as bm48 or bm49, then click and drag the splitter until the panes are the desired size.

See How to do a Word Study for step-by-step instructions for using this window.
