The "Default Reference Work" is the one that is at the top of the list for its Panel. For instance, if the New International Version of the Bible is at the first translation listed in the Bible Panel, then it is the Default Bible Version. Each Panel on the left-hand Navigation Panel has its own Default that can be set by you.
While running PC Study Bible, you can make these changes by selecting OPTIONS and choosing REORGANIZE EXISTING MATERIAL.
- In the left pane, choose the "category" you want to order. "Categories" match the Panels found in the left-hand NavPanel. Click the "+" plus next to the category you want to organize by setting the default.
- Use your mouse to select the reference work you want to move. A single-click will select it.
- Hold down the ALT key, and use the Up and Down Arrow keys on your keyboard to move or reposition Reference Works within their category. To make an item to Default Reference Work, move it to the top of its category.
- When you are finished, click the CLOSE button in the lower left-hand corner to save your changes and exit Do not use the "X" in the upper right-hand corner, as that will exit without saving your changes, unless you do not want to save the changes you have just made.
