User Testimonials

"Just a word to praise your efforts on the new version 5.

It is a tremendous improvement over previous versions, especially in regard to language use.

I have three other bible software programs which I use, yours is head and shoulders above the others.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!"

The Inset Scripture Macro doesn't show the verses. The only thing that comes in is Phillips. What is happening?

Phillips' translation is not tied to the traditional versing and section heads; the layout is a phrase-by-phrase equivalent that cover verse ranges. This allows the Phillips translation to present full thoughts in a naturally-reading paragraph flow. Unfortunately, this setup does not work well with the way the Copy Macro pulls verses from PC Study Bible.

The only way to correctly pull verses from the Phillips Translation into MS Word using the Macro is to make sure you are putting in the first verse of each individual section.

For some area's of this Bible, it is not so difficult.
For example, all you will get for John 1:44 is PHILLIPS; instead try going up to John 1:43 and the section will come in.
Of course, this work around doesn't help if you have a large section such as John 3:16. In the Phillips translation, this section starts in John 3:11.

The only real way to know what verses to type is to double check the translation before running the Macro
