User Testimonials

"Just a word to praise your efforts on the new version 5.

It is a tremendous improvement over previous versions, especially in regard to language use.

I have three other bible software programs which I use, yours is head and shoulders above the others.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!"

What is the installation order of CDs (Version 5)?

Disable anti-virus programs.  If you are running an anti-virus program, such as Norton, you must disable this when installing our product or any updates. This is key.

For example:

  1. Open Norton Anti-Virus.
  2. Choose Options, and have the Auto Protect Tab selected.
  3. Remove the check from the Load Auto Protect at Startup box.
  4. Press OK.
  5. If asked to unload Auto Protect from memory, choose Yes.
  6. Reboot your system.
  7. Just add the check after successfully installing PC Study Bible

Install the CDs in this order:

  1. Highest standalone Reference Library CD or DVD. For instance if you have a Version 4 Reference Library and a Version 5 upgrade, you would install the Version 4 Reference Library disc first as it is a standalone not an upgrade.
  2.
  3. Start up PC Study Bible look up a verse and close down.
  4.
  5. Install your upgrade Reference Library discs (if applicable).
  6.
  7. Start up PC Study Bible look up a verse and close down.
  8.
  9. Install any add-on or bonus CDs starting with the oldest and progressing to the newest discs.
  10.
  11. Start up PC Study Bible and make sure you can look up a verse.
  12.
  13. Install the latest Version 5 update found here: http://www.biblesoft.com/new/support/updates.asp

If you do not have a particular CD type listed above, skip that step.
