Problem - Some of the window headings in PC Study Bible may be too small to read. For example, the results heading for a Concordance search:
![]()
Solution - Unfortunately, this small text size is a bug. Here is a temporary workaround that will affect, in a small way, *all* your Windows programs, not just PC Study Bible. As written, these instructions apply to Windows Vista, but the instructions for Windows XP or Media Center are similar.
- Close all programs
- Right-click on a blank area of your Windows Desktop screen.
- A menu opens
- Click on Personalize
- "Personalize appearance and sounds" dialog opens
- Click on "Window Color and Appearance"
- "Appearance Settings" dialog opens
- Make sure that the "Windows Vista Basic" color scheme is highlighted
- Click on Advanced
- Advanced Appearance dialog opens
- In the Item dropdown, click on "Active Title Bar"
- Make note of the Font Size (in case you want to change it back to this value in the future)
- Change Font Size to 13
- Click OK
- "Appearance Settings" dialog returns
- Click Apply
- "Please Wait" message appears and the screen changes color. "Apply" button turns grey
- Click OK
- Close the "Personalize appearance and sounds" window
- Open PC Study Bible. Do a Concordance Search. The Results heading should be larger now.
