How do I turn off the ads? (KB981)

As PC Study Bible opens, you may see an "ad" window pop up. If the checkbox to stop the ads doesn't work, use the following steps to turn off the ads until the next time you install a PC Study Bible program update.

If you have Windows Vista ...

On your Windows desktop (the screen where your icons/shortcuts display), right-click the PC Study Bible shortcut.
Click on Open file location
This opens a folder called Program.
In this folder, delete the one or two files called Notice
Close all windows
Open PC Study Bible again. The ads should be gone.

If you have Windows XP or an earlier Windows version ...

On your Windows desktop (the screen where your icons/shortcuts display), right-click the PC Study Bible shortcut.
Left-click on Properties
The Properties dialog opens
Click on the Shortcut tab
Click the button Find Target...
This opens a folder called Program.
In this folder, delete the one or two files called Notice
Close all windows
Open PC Study Bible again. The ads should be gone.
