User Testimonials

"Just a word to praise your efforts on the new version 5.

It is a tremendous improvement over previous versions, especially in regard to language use.

I have three other bible software programs which I use, yours is head and shoulders above the others.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!"

Is MS Word 97 or above necessary to use PC Study Bible Version 3? If I don’t own Word 97 or above, what kind of copy, paste, and print functionality does PC Study Bible provide?

Basic copy, paste, and print functionality exists without any specific word processor. You can use any word processor in conjunction with PC Study Bible.  However, without Word 97 or 2000, you will not be able to perform the macro functions.  For more details about how PC Study Bible works with a variety of word processors, please read the information below.

For WordPerfect Suite 8™:

Can Do:
• You can still copy information from PC Study Bible and paste it into WordPerfect.  You can then edit and print the information from here.
• You can use PC Study Bible's limited internal editor to create a Personal Commentary.
• You can view other created modules in PC Study Bible.
• You can use Version 2 macros, if you have Version 2 on your system, to import scripture.  Version 2 and 3 can both be installed to one system.  To run the macro you will need the basic program files and at least the Bible version(s) you want to import text from.  This may take up around 10 MB of space.

Cannot Do:
• At this time, you cannot Import Scripture directly using a macro command or use the Authoring System Macros to create a Reference work.

For Microsoft Works:
(MS Works does not have macro capabilities.  As such, Biblesoft cannot produce macros to perform these functions with Works.)

Can Do:
• You can still copy information from PC Study Bible and paste it into Works.  You can then edit and print the information from here.
• You can use PC Study Bible's limited internal editor to create a Personal Commentary.
• You can view other created modules in PC Study Bible.

Cannot Do:
• Import Scripture directly using a macro command.
• Use the Authoring System Macros to create a Reference work.

For versions of WordPerfect before Suite 8, and Word before 97:

Can Do:
• You can still copy information from PC Study Bible and paste it into your word processor.  You can then edit and print the information from there.

Cannot Do:
• Import Scripture directly using a macro command.
• Use the Authoring System Macros to create a Reference work.
