These instructions are for Windows XP. Similar instructions would apply for other Windows versions.
- Close/Minimize all programs & windows except PC Study Bible.
- Open the photo you want in PC Study Bible.
- Right-click on the photo and choose “save image to clipboard”
- Left-click on Start > Program > Accessories > Paint
- Left-click Edit > Paste
- Left-click File > Save As
- Save the photo in your My Photos folder or other folder that you can find, using a file name that you can remember.
- Close Paint.
- You should be back at your Windows desktop (where all your icons/shortcuts are).
- Find an area of the desktop that does not have an icon/shortcut on it.
- Right-click in that area.
- A menu appears
- Left-click on Properties
- The Display Properties dialog appears.
- Left-click on the Desktop tab.
- Left-click on the Browse button.
- Move to the folder where you saved the photo.
- Left-click on the photo name (that you remembered from above)
- Left-click the Open button.
- The Desktop tab re-appears.
- Left-click on the Apply button.
- Left-click on the OK button.
- You should be back at your Windows desktop (where all your icons/shortcuts are), with the PC Study Bible photo as your background.
- You're finished.
