For Windows 98/2000/XP:
1. Choose START, move up to FIND (or SEARCH), then click on FILES OR FOLDERS.
2. In the Named: window, type "joshua.exe".
3. Check the Look In: window. This should read "My Computer" or your C: Hard Drive.
4. Click FIND NOW.  Wait for the file to be found.
5. Right-click the icon in front of Joshua.exe, and click on CREATE SHORTCUT.
6. Click and drag the shortcut onto your desktop to create the Shortcut link.
7. Click the "X" in the upper left-hand corner to close the Find window.

For Windows 95:
1. From your Win95 Task Bar choose START, and select FIND, then FILES OR FOLDERS.
2. The "Find: All Files" window will appear.  There are two relevant boxes in this window:  "Named"; and "Look In".
3. In the "Named" box type: joshua.exe [tab]
4. In the "Look In" box, select "My Computer".
5. Press ENTER or Find Now.
6. A Search Results window will eventually appear.  Write down the location of the file.  This location is in the column labeled "In Folder". You may have to expand this column to view the complete path.
7. Close the Find window.
8. Right-click anywhere on your DeskTop.  DO NOT click on an icon or the Task Bar.  Just in the empty space (background) on your desk top.
9. A menu box will appear.  Choose NEW, and then select SHORTCUT.
10.  In the Create Shortcut window, there will be a Command Line.  First, type a quotation mark.  Then, type the path from step 6 of this process.  At the end of that line, add \joshua.exe  DO NOT add a space. Put a close quotation mark at the end of this line. For example: If the In Folder path was: C:\PROGRAM FILES\BIBLESOFT\PC STUDY BIBLE 3.0\PROGRAM, on the Command Line you would type: "C:\PROGRAM FILES\BIBLESOFT\PC STUDY BIBLE 3.0\PROGRAM\JOSHUA.EXE"
11.  Click NEXT
12.  The next box will ask you to Select a name for the shortcut.  You can call it anything you like.  PC Study Bible, My Bible, whatever.
13.  Click FINISH
14.  Double-click the icon to verify that it works properly.
