Release Notes for all releases of the 4.3C Update Download
Version 4.3C is not compatible with Internet Explorer 7. For details (and a solution), see KB844.
These Release Notes are specific to the internet download of version 4.3C. For Release Notes about version 4.3C itself (delivered by either CD or internet download), see KB763.
Do Not do this download if you have installed Calvin's Commentary 4.3B. In your situation, you will need version 4.3C on an update CD which will be available for shipping approximately June 1st, 2006.
Do Not do this download if you already have a version 4.3C that was installed from an add-on CD.
If you install this download over version 4.2B Basic Edition,
PC Study Bible will freeze (not respond) the first time you start it after installing this download. Use Ctl-Alt-Del to "end task" on PC Study Bible. Once PC Study Bible is closed, you can open it again and it will work fine.
You gain the following features. By itself, the Basic Edition does not contain these features.
Morning and Evening appears under Books > General Books > Works of Charles Spurgeon.
Biblesoft Hymnal appears under Media > Music.
Tutorials are not updated: This download updates the program but not the tutorials.
For example, if you don't have any 4.2 tutorials installed, Help > Tutorials gives the message “Tutorials are not currently available for v4.2 of PC Study Bible”. If you then download version 4.3C, Help > Tutorials will still give the message “Tutorials are not currently available for v4.2 of PC Study Bible”. In other words, the message is not updated by the download. To obtain tutorials, see KB707.
Likewise, if Help > Tutorials showed the version 4.0 or 4.1 Tutorials before downloading version 4.3C, it will still show those same tutorials after the download.
Media > Maps > Bible Maps may stop working until you download the patch per KB786. Sorry for the inconvenience. This happens on some systems but not on others.

Fixes the lost Interlinear. Previous versions of the 4.3C Update Download, when installed over a version 4.0B or older system, would cause the Interlinear Bible to disappear. If you have lost your Interlinear Bible under these conditions, installing this 05.18.06 download should restore it.

This release fixes the GRAMCORD/Wheeler's problem in the release below. If you currently have the GRAMCORD/Wheeler's problem, just do the 4.3C Update Download from the Biblesoft website again.

If you have an Advanced Reference Library, this release will disable the GRAMCORD parsing and the Wheeler's Greek Syntax Notes within the Interlinear Bible - New Testament.
