User Testimonials

"Just a word to praise your efforts on the new version 5.

It is a tremendous improvement over previous versions, especially in regard to language use.

I have three other bible software programs which I use, yours is head and shoulders above the others.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!"

Release Notes for Version 4.3C

  • Version 4.3C is not compatible with Internet Explorer 7.  For details, see KB844.
  • Version 4.3C was first released the end of February 2006, as part of the following add-on CDs:
-- Romans Commentary by Donald Grey Barnhouse
    -- IVP New Testament Commentary
-- Genesis: The Story We Haven't Heard
  • In March of 2006, version 4.3C was made available as an internet download.  An Update CD for version 4.3C was released in June of 2006.
  • Enhancement - In the lower toolbar, the Quick cross-references button  now shows additional options including: Interlinear Bible, Strong's Greek/Hebrew Dictionary by Verse, the Treasury of Scripture Knowledge, and where appropriate, Vine's Expository Dictionary, and My Personal Notes.
  • Bug fix - hyphenated Hebrew words (e.g. "Bathsheba" in 2 Sam 11:3) and compound Hebrew words (e.g. "Bethlehem" in Gen 35:19) now align correctly with the corresponding English text in the Interlinear Bible - Old Testament.
  • Bug Fix - When the Paste RTF option is turned on and you copy and paste, you will now see correct spacing around words in color or italics.
  • Bug - Spurgeon's Daily Devotional shows passage for the wrong date
    1. In the column of shortcuts just to the left of the Spurgeon's Daily Devotional, click on Switch to Devotions
    2. Wait for the Spurgeon's to appear.  It should be on the correct date.
    3. In the column of shortcuts just to the left of the Spurgeon's Daily Devotional, click on Switch to Main Page
    4. When you return to the Main Page, Spurgeon's should be on the correct date.
  • Delay in backward scrolling - When you have a Bible open, then scroll backward (i.e. up the page), it may take 5-10 seconds before the screen responds.  Solution - in the row of buttons across the bottom of the screen, click the far-right button, "Toggle Paragraphing On/Off" so that each verse appears in its own paragraph.  Now the backward scrolling should respond quickly.
  • The id number of this entry is 279.
