User Testimonials

"Just a word to praise your efforts on the new version 5.

It is a tremendous improvement over previous versions, especially in regard to language use.

I have three other bible software programs which I use, yours is head and shoulders above the others.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!"

Release Notes for Grudem's Systematic Theology: An Introduction to Biblical Doctrine

This reference work is available in three forms from Biblesoft and the Release Notes may be different for the three forms.

  • As a download from the Biblesoft website.
  • As a Replacement CD from Biblesoft, if the download fails.
  • As a CD from Biblesoft (this CD is titled Electronic Systematic Theology and shows Bits & Bytes as the manufacturer.)
  • Release Notes for the Download

  • Unlike most product downloads from Biblesoft, this download includes an update to version 4.2G.  For most other product downloads, you have to do a program update as a separate download.

  • Where do I find this product in PC Study Bible
-- Topics > Glossaries > Systematic Theology by Wayne Grudem (Glossary)
-- Books > General Books > Systematic Theology by Wayne Grudem
-- Bibles > English Standard Version
  • Release Notes for the Replacement CD

  • This CD is marked:
    Systematic Theology:
    by Wayne Grudem
Replacement CD - Not For Sale
    GRUDM 4.2G   SBB00354SYSTEMAT0206

  • If the download fails, Biblesoft will provide this CD for a small fee.

  • Like the download, this CD includes an update to version 4.2G.

  • This CD does not contain the series 4.2 Tutorials, but it leads you to the web page where you can download the tutorials.  Click on Help > Tutorials to see more.

  • When you insert this CD, the install starts; you do not see the "CD Manager" screen common on many version 4 add-ons.

  • Like the download, this CD delivers the Grudem version with extra tags linking to other reference works in PC Study Bible.

  • Bug - When this CD is installed over PC Study Bible  (as opposed to installing it on a computer which does not have PC Study Bible already), the Interlinear Bible option disappears from the Quick cross-references button  shown at the bottom of any New Testament Bible passage.  Likewise, the Greek/Hebrew > By Verse menu will show "Interlinear Bible - Old Testament" but will not mention "Interlinear Bible - New Testament".

To fix this problem, do the steps below.
      1. Start PC Study Bible if it is not open already.

      2. Click on Options > Reorganize existing material ...

      3. The Organize Reference Works dialog appears.

      4. Click on the Restore All button.

      5. You won't see anything happen except maybe a screen flicker or flash.

      6. Click the button labeled Close.  (Do not use the X button to close.)

      7. Click on Options > Preferences

      8. The Preferences dialog appears.

      9. Scroll the left panel all the way to the bottom.

      10. Click on Reference Works

      11. A list of reference works appears to the right with checkboxes and buttons beneath it.

      12. Click on Interlinear Bible - New Testament in the list.

      13. If necessary, make the dialog wider until you can see, to the right, just below the list, the Hidden checkbox.

      14. There is a checkmark in front of Hidden.

      15. Click on the word Hidden to uncheck the checkbox.

      16. Click on the Save button.

      17. The Saving Your Preferences dialog appears.

      18. Wait for your preferences to save.

      19. Open a Bible to John 1:1 (or any New Testament verse), if you don't have one open already.

      20. Click on the Quick cross-references button .

      21. You should see Interlinear Bible - New Testament pop up.

      22. Problem solved.

      23. There is one harmless side-effect of this fix.  Starting with the next time that you open PC Study Bible, your Greek/Hebrew > By Verse menu will include both of the following lines:
        Interlinear Bible
        Interlinear Bible - New Testament

Either line can open your Interlinear Bible to any verse in the Old or New Testament.  As you install newer versions of PC Study Bible in the future, this side-effect will go away.
  • Your PC Study Bible desktop will say Systematic Theology across the top when this CD is installed over PC Study Bible.
  • The id number of this entry is 276.
