User Testimonials

"Just a word to praise your efforts on the new version 5.

It is a tremendous improvement over previous versions, especially in regard to language use.

I have three other bible software programs which I use, yours is head and shoulders above the others.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!"

Is there a version of PC Study Bible for my handheld computer? (KB731)

Currently, Biblesoft does not offer a version of PC Study Bible for handhelds or cell phones.

To find Bible software for your handheld, consider searching Google, for:
iPhone Bible
Blackberry Bible
<whatever your handheld is called> Bible

Prior to Version 5, Biblesoft, in conjunction with Laridian -- a company specializing in software for handheld devices – offered two Bible programs for handhelds consisting of:

  • MyBible (for your Palm-compatible handheld)
  • PocketBible (for your Pocket PC handheld)
  • These programs are no longer offered or supported through Biblesoft, although limited installations are possible for Version 4 users, via the instructions which follow.  Technical support for these products may be available through Laridian at www.Laridian.com(support@laridian.com)

These Laridian products are specialized software packages for Pocket PC or Palm OS. They are not compatible with PC Study Bible which is designed to run on Windows OS for personal computers.

During the first install of my Reference Library CD, I decided not to install any handheld products, but now how do I do so?  (Note: for a time, Laridian products were included on Biblesoft's Reference Library CDs, but not any more.)

Step 1.  Insert that Reference Library CD in your CD-ROM drive.
Step 2.  If the CD starts automatically and shows the CD Manager, go directly to Step 5.
If the CD does not start automatically, continue with Step 3.
Step 3.  Select the START button from the Windows task bar.  From the pop-up menu, select “Run...”
Step 4. In the “Open:” field that appears, type D:\Autorun\Autorun.exe (if your CD-ROM drive letter is not D, substitute the correct drive letter in this command), then press the Enter key.
Step 5. Select View Contents of CD in the top right corner of the CD Manager.
Step 6. Double-click the Laridian folder to open it.
Step 7. Double-click Setup.exe to start the Laridian installation program.
Step 8. Follow the onscreen instructions to install MyBible or PocketBible and the Bible(s) of your choice.  If you need instructions beyond this point, contact Laridian Technical Support.
