Release Notes for Version 4.2G Update CD

Release Notes for the CD PC Study Bible Version 4.2G Update with Revised Data:

  • This CD gives you the option to update the New Living Translation (NLT) from the first edition to the second edition.
     
  • This CD delivers the 2/18/05 Strong’s definitions (strongs.*) file.  It contains both the Greek form (i.e. spelling in Greek characters) of each word and the transliteration (spelling in English characters).  The 6/15/04 version of the Strong's definitions file did not include the Greek form.
  • When this CD is installed over the PC Study Bible Basic Edition 4.2B, you gain the following features.   By itself, the Basic Edition does not contain these features.

  • Englishman's Concordance appears under Greek/Hebrew > By Strong's Number.
     
  • Strong's Greek/Hebrew Dictionary (by verse) appears under Greek/Hebrew > By Verse.  However, when you double-click on any Strong's number in Strong's Greek/Hebrew Dictionary (by verse), you'll see a message that there is no definition.
     
  • Morning and Evening appears under Books > General Books > Works of Charles Spurgeon.
     
  • Biblesoft Hymnal appears under Media > Music.
  • When this CD is installed over the Hope for the Heart Biblical Counseling Library (Life Daily Growth Series), you gain the following features.   By itself, Hope for the Heart does not contain these features.

  • Englishman's Concordance appears under Greek/Hebrew > By Strong's Number.
     
  • Strong's Greek/Hebrew Dictionary (by verse) appears under Greek/Hebrew > By Verse.  However, when you double-click on any Strong's number in Strong's Greek/Hebrew Dictionary (by verse), you'll see a message that there is no definition.
     
  • Biblesoft Hymnal appears under Media > Music.
  • When this CD is installed over the Pulpit Commentary 4.0 or 4.1A (standalone), you gain the following features.   By itself, the Pulpit Commentary does not contain these features.

  • Morning and Evening appears under Books > General Books > Works of Charles Spurgeon.
  • When this CD is installed over the Dictionary of Hermeneutics (DHERM 4.2F), you gain the following features.   By itself, the Dictionary of Hermeneutics does not contain these features.

  • The Bible translation American Standard Version
     
  • The Commentary button is enabled and shows My Personal Notes
