User Testimonials

"Just a word to praise your efforts on the new version 5.

It is a tremendous improvement over previous versions, especially in regard to language use.

I have three other bible software programs which I use, yours is head and shoulders above the others.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!"

How do I install the Copy Macros in Version 4 or Version 5?

For Word 97 - 2003, begin on the next line.  Word versions prior to Word 97 are not supported.
  1. Open Word  (If Word is already open, close it, then open it again.)

  2. Double-Click on TOOLS in the menu.

  3. If your version of Word does not show the following options, skip to step 9.

  4. Click on Macro.

  5. Click on Security.

  6. Click on the Security Level tab if it is not already displayed.

  7. Set the Security Level to Low.

  8. Click OK on the Security box.

  9. Close Word completely.

  10. Choose START.

  11. Move up to All Programs.

  12. Move over to PC Study Bible 4 {or 5}.

  13. Choose "Install Copy Macros. . ." from this menu.

  14. Word opens.

  15. Find and double-click the INSTALL button in this document.

  16. The macro is now installed. Read/print this document for information on the copy macros.

  17. Double-Click on TOOLS in the menu.

  18. If your version of Word does not show the following options, skip to step 24.

  19. Click on Macro.

  20. Click on Security.

  21. Click on the Security Level tab if it is not already displayed.

  22. Set the Security Level to Medium or High.

  23. Click OK on the Security box.

  24. Close Word completely.

  25. Your macros are now installed and your macro security is back to what it was before.

Try it!

  1. Start PC Study Bible.  (The macros work best if PC Study Bible is already running.)

  2. Open Word.

  3. Create a new Word document. You will now see a toolbar that looks something like this:

(If you don't see this toolbar, click on View > Toolbars > PCSB.  In Word 2007, this is visible under the Add-ins tab.)

  4. To fetch a scripture from PC Study Bible into Word...

  5. In Word, type the scripture you would like pasted, e.g. John 3:16

  6. Leave the cursor blinking to the right of the "6"

  7. Then click the button that looks like a Bible. This should fetch your scripture directly from PC Study Bible into Word.
