Why can't I group NIV (Anglicized) verses into paragraphs?

In other words, why do my NIV (Anglicized) Bible passages print with one verse per paragraph?

Some translations know how to group verses into paragraphs and some don't. The NIV (Anglicized) does not.

Sorry for the inconvenience. We are looking into licensing an improved version.

Until the NIV (Anglicized) text is revised to include paragraphing, may I use another NIV instead?

Unfortunately, we are required by our license agreements with Zondervan
(USA) and Hodder & Stoughton (Europe) to sell only specific versions within particular countries. The install is automatic and depends on your PC's Regional Settings (country codes).
