Likewise the CPU runs at 100% until another program wants the CPU.

Background

While version 4.2F solves many problems, it also introduces one:   PC Study Bible 4.2F will cause your CPU to run at 100% until another program or process requests the CPU.  You may not even notice this on a desktop computer, but on a laptop/notebook, where the CPU fan speed may be proportional to the load on the CPU, your fan will run at its highest speed all the time that PC Study Bible is running.  In other words, if your laptop/notebook is not plugged into the wall outlet, 4.2F will use up battery power much faster than prior versions.  This means a battery charge will last about half as long as usual.

As it turns out, it is a rather "loose" use of the CPU. PC Study Bible willingly surrenders the CPU to other applications, so it is really not, based on current experience, seeming to harm the operation of other applications.

Related Problem

Prior to version 4.2G, when you use the Hover feature, it will drive the CPU to 100%.  That no longer happens with 4.2G.  It used to be that it would go to 100% and not come down (this error was introduced with Hover in 4.2B).  In 4.2D it was improved so that the 100% only happened when you displayed the Hover function or remained in a pane that could pop a Hover box.  Prior to 4.2F, if you switched to a different pane (like a Bible) the CPU would drop back to normal.
