User Testimonials

"Just a word to praise your efforts on the new version 5.

It is a tremendous improvement over previous versions, especially in regard to language use.

I have three other bible software programs which I use, yours is head and shoulders above the others.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!"

Release Notes for Wuest's Word Studies in the Greek New Testament (4 vol.)

Release Notes for the add-on CD Wuest's Word Studies in the Greek New Testament (4 vol.) (WUEST 4.2F-2).

  • Q: Where do I find Golden Nuggets... and the other titles listed on the green sheet that came with my CD?
A: If you don't see it after clicking Books > Supplements > Wuest's Word Studies,
then click the "+" in front of VOLUME 3 on the resulting screen.

  • All Release Notes listed below also apply to this add-on CD.

  • This CD solves the GRAMCORD parsing issue described by KB699

  • This CD adds Tutorial information by linking Help > Tutorial to downloads on the Biblesoft web site.

  • Caution: The first time you run PC Study Bible after installing this add-on, do not run Options > Setup Helper.  It will fail and cause PC Study Bible to freeze.  However, if you avoid Options > Setup Helper and close PC Study Bible normally after the first run, then run PC Study Bible again, Options > Setup Helper will work fine from then on.

  • Wuest Expanded New Testament is missing Acts 4:5-14.  You may receive a free replacement CD by contacting Customer Service.  We are sorry for this inconvenience.

  • When installed on a computer in the United Kingdom or Europe, this CD will replace the New International Version (Anglicised) with the New International Version.  Contact Technical Support to get your New International Version (Anglicised) restored.

  • Release Notes for the add-on CD Wuest's Word Studies in the Greek New Testament (4 vol.) (WUEST 4.2D or WUEST 4.2E or WUEST 4.2F).

  • If you are re-installing all of your PC Study Bible CDs, install this WUEST 4.2D (or WUEST 4.2E) CD last.  In particular, this CD should be installed after 4.2B and 4.1A CDs.

  • This add-on is not compatible with Windows 95.  If PC Study Bible is working on your Windows 95 system, installing this add-on will cause PC Study Bible to stop working.  This add-on requires Windows 98 or later.

  • This add-on installs to four locations within your PC Study Bible:
    Bibles > Wuest’s Expanded NT
    Topics > Wuest’s Word Studies
Commentary > Word Study Commentaries > Wuest’s Word Studies
    Books > Supplements > Wuest’s Word Studies

  • If you don't find Wuest at those locations, or the names are longer, e.g. Wuest’s Word Studies from the Greek New Testament,
Start PC Study Bible (if it's not open already)
Click on Options > Reorganize Existing Materials.
In the lower right, click on Restore All.
You may see the screen flicker or flash.
In the lower left, click on Close.

  • While Wuest translated the complete New Testament, his commentary is incomplete; he died before he could finish a commentary on all the New Testament books.  Per the flyer about the Wuest Word Studies (see page 2, in the lower left corner, where the contents of printed Volumes 1 & 2 are listed), the Word Study commentary
includes: Mark, Romans, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus, Hebrews, 1 Peter, 2 Peter, 1 John, 2 John, 3 John, Jude
is missing: Matthew, Luke, John, Acts, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, Philemon, James, Revelation.

  • If the Wuest Expanded New Testament is set as your default Bible, i.e. it shows at the top of your list of Bibles, the GetRef macro will not pull it into Microsoft Word; you will get the Wuest copyright notice, but no Wuest Bible text.  In other words, you cannot pull Wuest verses into Word using the macro.  The workaround is to Copy the Wuest verse(s) from PC Study Bible and Paste the verse(s) into Word.
