The Puritan Classics Collection (with or without "A Quest for Godliness" by J.I. Packer) add-on CD will erase the preference order you set for your Bible translations and other reference works when installed over version 4.1B.
For example, if you have installed the Theological Dictionary of the New Testament (Kittel), and you have set the American Standard Version to be the first Bible on your Bibles panel, then after installing the Puritan Classics Collection, the first Bible on the Bibles panel will change, either to the King James Version or to the New International Version. Similarly, reference works from non-Bible categories, e.g. Commentaries, will also return to their factory default order.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. The loss of reference work preference is an unavoidable side-effect of installing the Puritan Classics CD over version 4.1B.
To restore your Bible preference, in the PC Study Bible menu select Options > Setup Helper.
To restore your preference order for other reference works, in the PC Study Bible menu select Options > "Reorganize existing material".
Note: If you have created a backup copy of your Category.Cfg file, do not restore that file as a way to restore your preferences. That backup copy is not compatible in this situation and will cause PC Study Bible to crash.
