User Testimonials

"Just a word to praise your efforts on the new version 5.

It is a tremendous improvement over previous versions, especially in regard to language use.

I have three other bible software programs which I use, yours is head and shoulders above the others.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!"

Why are my Photos missing?

Some of our CDs did not copy Photos over to the Hard Drive.  You would then not have access to the Photos if you ran the program without your CD in the CD-Rom Drive. This was a bug that slipped into our program at the last minute.  We have corrected it in our Version 4.1, and will make it available for free download from our website in a couple of weeks. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you.

In the meantime, you can run the program with the CD in the drive, or here's how you can manually copy the Photos from your CD to your Hard Drive:\

  1. Open Windows Explorer. This can be done by choosing START, selecting PROGRAMS, then clicking on WINDOWS EXPLORER. For XP you have to select ACCESSORIES after PROGRAMS.
  2. In the left window, click the plus "+" next to the Program Files folder. If you cannot see the Program Files folder yet, you may have to first click on the plus next to My Computer and then on the plus next to Drive C, both in the left window.
  3. In the left window, click the plus next to Biblesoft.
  4. Still in the left window, now click the plus next to PC Study Bible (3.0 or 4).
  5. Single-click to highlight the RefWorks folder.
  6. After displaying this folder, find the icon in the left pane that represents your CD ROM Drive.
  7. You may have to scroll the window down to see it.
  8. Click the plus next to your CD-ROM Drive icon.
  9. In the left pane, single-click on the folder titled RefWorks.
  10. From the top tool bar, choose EDIT and SELECT ALL.
  11. Now choose EDIT and COPY.
  12. In the left window, scroll up tofind the RefWorks folder back on your HardDrive. This is the one we found earlier, in Step 5.
  13. From the top tool bar, choose EDIT and PASTE.  If asked to overwrite or replace an existing file, answer NO.  You may be required to answer No quite a few times.
  14. If you receive a message that states, "The Source and Destination filenames are the same" you did not click on the appropriate RefWorks folder.  Follow these instructions again from Step 5.
  15. When this copy function is complete choose EDIT from the top tool bar, and click SELECT ALL.
  16. Hold down the ALT key and press the ENTER key at the same time.  A Properties window will appear.
  17. Near the bottom right there will be a Read Only checkbox.  This box should not be grayed out, and there should not be a check in it. Click on this box as many times as necessary until the box is clear; no check.
  18. Click OK on the Properties window. You do not need to click Apply.
  19. You may now exit Windows Explorer.
  20. Remove the PC Study Bible CD from your CD-ROM Drive.
