Hanan Isachar, was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, in 1949. After completing his studies in Mechanical Engineering at the Tel Aviv University he embarked on a journey throughout Europe, Latin America, the United States and Asia, where he traveled extensively and worked for almost two decades.
In 1993 Hanan moved back to Israel to establish Apogee Press, a photo library. His photographs have appeared in books and magazines in Israel as well as worldwide, and are part of the permanent collection of the Tel Hai Museum of Photography.
Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs' exhibition, "The Source", exclusively features Hanan's photographs, and has toured worldwide.
